Job Description

• Functional support of the core banking system and interconnected interfaces

• Management of configuration, corrections, modernization and upgrading of the basic banking system

• Manage and support the integration of the core banking system with other interconnected applications

• Provide business analysis and requirements gathering support to end users

• Formulating and implementing an IT disaster recovery plan in collaboration with the IT team. Ensure that the Core Banking application, tools, and data are available on the disaster recovery site at any time required.

• Document any necessary procedures related to the implementation of Core Banking for your reference.

• Anticipate basic banking application problems and implement preventive measures.

• Check and install improvements and operating procedures that improve the availability of Core Banking

• Develop management information and dashboard reports using Business Objects, Crystal Report, and other applicable tools.

• Design and manage data warehouse applications and tools

• Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) with application service providers

• Effective management of timely resolution of defects or outstanding issues affecting the business

• Support the preparation of key presentations, strategy documents, and other documents

• Processing and executing application customization requests

• Provide end-user training

• Investigate user problems, identify root cause, identify possible solutions, and test and implement solutions

• Any other duties that may be assigned by the management.

• Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programmes. Recommending, developing and managing policies and procedures. Reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures.

• Participation in the employee interview/selection process. Train, develop, evaluate and communicate with assigned employees.

• Ensures availability of appropriate resources to respond to customer inquiries/issues.
