•The Internal Auditor is responsible for planning and ensuring the execution of the audit and risk management plans within Company . The IA will also provide support to the external auditor as needed.
•Carry out financial, operational, compliance and special assignment audits on the core and non-core operations.
•Coordinate with the BOD financial auditing plan and ensure the execution of the annual audit plan/programs to audit the core and non-core operations of Company .
•Implement financial auditing programs for reviewing and appraising the soundness and adequacy of internal accounting controls, determining to which extent assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded from losses, and establishing the reliability of accounting data maintained in the books and records.
•Implement operational auditing programs that are responsible for reviewing and determining the extent to which the company’s policies and procedures are adequate and followed.
•Implement Information Systems auditing programs that are responsible for reviewing the information systems and activities which convert, process, store, and transmit data accurately and completely, in an efficient fashion, with reasonable provision for security, and backup of data and data processing assets and recovery in the event of loss of either.
•Implement special assignments and fraud auditing programs that deal with conducting special audit assignments and fraud related situations.
•Investigate and recommend actions when weaknesses in internal controls exist, and ensure the accuracy of financial information in compliance with Company’s rules, and according to applicable accounting standards.
•Ensure identifying key risks facing Company and execute mitigation plans to manage these risks.
•Report audit findings, recommendation and conclusion of the audit programs, and follow-up correction program.
•Monitor new developments in auditing techniques and standards in order to apply them to Company in the future.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (Master’s Degree is preferred)
•Professional certificate (i.e. CIA, CPA, CISA, or CA) is required
•Good knowledge of the principles and practices of internal audit, and accounting standards “IFRS and US GAAP”
•Minimum of 8 years of related experience, preferably with a public accounting firm.
•Frequent travel to comp and may require regional and international travel
