Job Description

For Engineering & Trading Company in Sudan 

Required Qualifications:

•a Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•4-6 years’ experience in production management.

•Experience preferable in the battery production or other related industry.


•Strong desire to bring best practices to the team

•Excellent analytical ability and strong communicationskills,

•Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment and be able to tolerate ambiguity &stress

•Strong organization skills with detailed and processorientation.

•Excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

•A natural collaborator with an ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships both internally and externally.

•Skilled in the use and knowledge of Microsoft Office

•Creation of regular informative business reports

•Exceptionalproblem-solvingskills,andworkcomfortablyina group/collaborative setting.

Key roles & responsibilities:

•Responsible for the department manufacturing quality.

•Plan and schedule production operations while maintaining company goals for lean manufacturing and inventory levels.

•Implement and manage quality control tools to achieve the proper reporting.

•Review production schedules, materials and manpower resources to coordinate personnel in order to maximize production objectives, while maintaining quality and meeting output requirements

•Manage Inventory accuracy of raw materials, work in process and finish products from the departments of responsibility

•Ensure that receiving and shipping schedules are followed accurately

•Provide information and collaborate with Environmental, Quality Control, 

Maintenance, Engineering, Scheduling, and Manufacturing, to assist and / or to implement programs related to cost reductions, work simplification, dies/ tooling tryouts, methods, procedures, scheduling, planning, machine repairing, and maintenance schedules.

•Utilize the manufacturing best practice methods to advance the process and generate change to improve the product .

•Maintain a safe working environment by assuring the facility meets all government regulations, the company standards and any others thatmay apply.

•Utilize ERP to manage inventory, produce schedules, create orders, report production and receive product.

•Responsible for implementation of safety and environmental devices/ equipment, general housekeeping and maintaining a constant alert for hazardous conditions and / or work practices.

•Responsible for or overseeing all production reporting in assigned departments.

•Analyze factory production data to create production data reports and devising improvement strategies as necessary.

•Work with marketing teams to develop effective product collateral and marketing activities to support production plans

•Develop production monitoring metrics to measure performance of business & teams, & conduct performance reviews of staff.

•Attend company meetings, seminars, host trainings and perform other production and engineering related functions as needed while keeping abreastofnewdevelopmentsrelevanttothetechnical,administrativeand supervisory aspects related to the position.

•Train all the factory teams on technical aspects to support the production growth.

•Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate the involvement of other related departments to meet clients’ objectives and expectations.
