Job Description:


  • To be responsible for investigating and acquiring sites to meet the Network growing demands and expansion plans of the business, ensure that the organization act in accordance with local Regulations and international standards, processes, procedures and protocol to ensure that the sites are acquired  are free of debt and restriction.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Arrangement with local authorities, government agencies, land agents and land owners in the acquisition process and ensure that all sites are acquired free of debt or restriction.
  • Responsible for the day to day control of site acquisition directing and coordinating small multi-disciplinary teams in order to complete the work efficiently and effectively.
  • To ensure that work is carried out with regard to technical and professional standards and to meet all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • To contribute to the effective management, motivation and development of project team resources by liaising closely with key line management personnel and other relevant parties within the project, to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved or appropriately escalated at an early stage.
  • To manage relationships with third party contractors/suppliers to ensure optimal value and return on investment.
  • Follow up the contract obligations, renewal of contract & annual rents of all existing site contracts.
  • To agree with Zain legal adviser on the contractual terms & statements to be implemented for all lease agreements in all projects.
  • Plane for the technical sites survey & acquiring the sites in house or along with outsources.
  • Conducts site searches/survey activities.
  • Rollout and control the monthly and annual SA target.
  • Corporation internal and external with different departments to achieve the goals within mini cost and time and highly quality.
  • Following the approved process to fulfill the company objective.
  • Monitoring and follow up the progress of SA operates and manages the problematic and hazard appears.
  • Following the site payment issues and problems.
  • Documents site acquisition by maintaining records and contacts; recording zoning constraints and conditions of approval.
  • Negotiates with private and public landlords in leases/purchases purpose.
  • Leases properties by establishing contact with landlords; preparing lease objectives; presenting terms; examining proposals; exploring options; concluding agreements; negotiating with other telecommunication carriers regarding lease agreements and collocation sites.
  • Directs and oversees land/building acquisitions, leasing, and site locations required for telecommunication installations.
  • Complies with federal, provincial, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Obtains permits by researching requirements; gathering information; completing zoning and land use applications; obtaining and providing information to municipalities and agencies; verifying land entitlement; making presentations to commissions and boards; preparing information packets; providing guidelines to zoning officials for land use ordinance revisions.
  • Maintains relationship with landlords by listening to and resolving concerns; providing information.
  • Trying to resolve the issues involving the on hold sites to obtain L/A permission in order to prevent problems during constructions.
  • Involved in negotiating the local Authority fees and obtaining tower building permissions from L/A.
  • Setting up good relations with sites owners.


Qualification, Requirements & Skills:

  • c/ BA in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant science
  • From 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Mobile Telecommunication back ground desirable
  • Work experience in project management environment or to project management disciplines is recommended.
  • Has capability for Field Work and travel all around Sudan together with ability to handle office work is mandatory.
  • Ability and experience to work as a site surveyor is mandatory.
  • Should have previous strong track record of success in managing/contributing large scale end to end project.
