We’re Hiring! Procurement Manager [ Port Sudan ]
Job Profile
The Procurement Manager oversees all procurement activities across Sudan, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with project timelines. The role includes direct management of the Khartoum/Port Sudan procurement team and technical supervision of field procurement leads. The position is responsible for establishing and managing Framework Agreements (FWAs), pre-qualified supplier lists, procurement trackers, and coordinating international procurement with the IPU.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement operations across Sudan.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and donor regulations.
- Manage the procurement team and supervise field procurement leads.
- Establish and manage Framework Agreements (FWAs).
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement trackers.
- Coordinate international procurement with the IPU.
- Conduct planning meetings with programme and finance teams.
- Provide KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support proposal development and review operational reports.
- Travel: Up to 40% to Field Offices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Administration or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of procurement experience.
- At least 2 years with an International NGOs.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of BHA, ECHO, AICS and UN donor regulations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
