I have membership in Saudi engineering council and Sudan engineeringcouncil.
• Ensure thatOperations comply with all relevant safety and environmental managementpolicies, procedures and controls across all operations in Plant.
•Conduct safety audits and inspections.
•Participate in safety reviews for Plant such asHAZID, HAZOP study, PHA and Effects reviews.
•Review, evaluate and oversee implementation of theSafety Management System in particular related to Process Safety and relatedsafety activities on Plant.
•Participate in design reviews of new facilities orupgrades; and consulting on process safety related issues, including riskassessments, investigating the root causes of incidents, and developingmeasures to avoid future losses.
•Conduct safety orientation, training sessions formanagement, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation.
• Coordinateemergency procedures.•To ensure that HSE operation procedures and methodstatements (in onshore/ upstream operations and projects) are in compliancewith Company HSE policy; in particular, Safe System of Work, HSE Procedures,Risk Assessments, HSE Reporting, actions tracking, HSE audits and inspections.
•Conducting acceptance, Pre-Spud, Periodicalinspections to drilling and workover rigs at Block-17.
•Conduct incident investigation, safety audits, safetyorientation and safety meetings for management and drilling and workover contractors.
•Organizing the risk assessments of all operationsto ensure all the company and contractors are aware of the operational risk andhow to eliminate/minimize the risks ALARP.
•Monitoring and following up processing contractorsand drilling/workover contractors' activities to ensure that projects complywith Company Standards, HSE Guidelines & Safety Regulations.
•Maintain field records, i.e. incident/accidentreports, safety reports/memo circulars, accident statistics.
•DevelopingHSE Management Systems, regulations, procedures and control programs.
•Increasingemployees' awareness by conducting HSE training sessions and emergency drills.
•Establishmentof main emergency response plan "ERP" for company concession.
• Establishment of comprehensive trainingprogram for all employees.
• Establishment of fire risk assessment and riskmanagement procedures.
