Design & Estimation Engineer

• Responsible for the Estimation & Design of Low voltage switchgear panels like MDB, SMDB, DB, Feeder Pillar, ATS, Synchronizing, MCC, PCC, PLC Control Panel.
• Involving technical review for new projects with Sales / Marketing, and interface with customers / consultants to prepare estimation for bid proposal
• Preparing the technical material submittal complete with drawings, Certificates and Catalogues for Consultant and Clients approval.
• Co-ordinate with Clients/Consultants to understand the drawings and specifications for designing of Single Line Diagram, Protection Schemes, General Arrangement, Foundation and Bill of Materials for Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear Panels.
• Preparing the co-ordination study and short circuit study.
• Designing the VFD Control Panels, Pump Control Panels and APFC on a project by project basis.
• Preparing the CT & VT Calculations & Heat Dissipation Calculations.
• To Co-ordinate with mechanical engineers for project related Mechanical design.
• To issue drawings (SLD, GA, Schemes, BOM, Wiring Schedule and Fabrication) for manufacturing.
• Handling design reviews with Customer’s engineers, prior to manufacturing and completing project contract on time.
• To provide technical support to the Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Testing.
• Capable of designing & doing any electrical drawings in Eplan, Elecdes & AutoCAD.
• Implementation and adaptation of IEC, OES & ISO 9001 standards as part of Design, Engineering & Quality Policies.
• Maximize utilization of slow moving stocks in order toreduce statutory provisions.

Design Engineer

• Analyze Enquiries and give technical inputs to Sales Engineers.
• Participate in Cost Estimations.
• Review data sheets & Customer’s Specifications for designing of Single Line Diagram, Protection Schemes, General Arrangement, Foundation and Bill of Materials for Low Voltage Switchgear Panels.
• Meeting deadlines and scheduled dates for design & technical submissions in line with monthly, yearly production & sales targets through effective utilization of available resources.
• Review and GA, Schemes & BOM in Navision and amend wherever required.
• Liaise with Consultant & Client for drawing approval.
• Maintain updated status of all Drawings and external related Documents.
• Clarify if any technical clarifications from production/testing.
• Validate designs by successful completion of Panel testing.
• Participate in FAT & Resolve conflicts.
• Continuous improvement in Product Design so as to improveProduct Quality in line with customer requirements.
