In December 2018 i enrolled in Sudanese Thermal Power Generating Company(KNPS) as trainer in Instrumentation and Control Maintenance department for one month, i learned how to maintain and operate Instrumentations in the plant such as : Sensors(thermocouple, RTD, level), flow-meter, flame-scanner, gauge, governor, igniter, transmitter(pressure, level... etc), switch(bush-button, limit switch), control valve(auma, electromechanical),
In March 2019 i enrolled in Sudanese Thermal Power Generating Company(KNPS) to do the national service in Operation department for one year, i learned how Khartoum North Power Station (Steam/Turbine 380 MW) operates, i learned how to monitor the different parts of KNPS during power generation such as : Turbine, Boiler, Cooling Tower, river side station, Condenser, Pumps, Compressors... etc . also how the different cycles of the station works such as : Water Cycle, Steam Cycle, Fuel Oil Cycle. how to discover the malfunctions, errors or defects during the operation of the station and maintain it or contact with relevant maintenance unit in the station (such as Turbine Maintenance Unit, Instrumentation and Control Maintenance Unit... etc) to maintain the defects.
