About me

 Experience in Mechanical Engineering focused primarily on Piping, Industry: EPC for Petrochemicals Oil & Gas 

plants; Fertilizer's factories, Refineries, Power Plants (Thermal incl. Super Critical & Combined HRSG) 

Infrastructure and water drainage stations. 

 Duties included Field Engineering, Piping/Pipeline Construction, Detailing, Supervising, Technical Support and 

Coordination. 

 Provides and directs the technical services functions on-site & Resolves job site technical issues encountered during 

execution of the project). Ensuring full compliance with all relevant standards, (E.G ASME B31.1 power piping, 

ASME B31.3 process piping, ASME PCC-2 Repair of pressure Equipment and Piping, ASTM, API 570 Piping

 Support various stages of the project “C3” (construction, completion and commissioning).Coordinate the 

completion of construction activities and assist the Turnover coordinator in preparation of turnover documentation. 

 Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standards of HSE in Accordance with the Project, client and 

company standards .Fabrication workshop experience: piping & supports fabrication Activities, review welding 

maps & material dispatches, dimension check, Modifications follow-up & time sheet approval .

of the structures passed on work activities and load.

 Perform periodic performance appraisals for line reports and other staff (in coordination with the HR 

department). 

 Ensure adherence to technical office policies and procedures through continuous review to the project 

contracts, terms and conditions, time schedule, review of design drawings and owner/consultant’s bill of 

quantities (BOQ). 

 Follow up /Review the project designs with consultant in order to prepare project shop drawing to highlight 

any deviation with the code/standards. 

 Coordinate with Site Manager and project control Manager under project Manager direct supervision to set 

an effective work procedure, work priorities and suitable resources allocation. 

 Coordinate all technical matters between engineering, construction, procurement and subcontractors in 

order to solve any potential problems. 

 Set/Follow up with project consultant the effective cycle of approvals for shop drawing and Material 

submittals. 

 Manage shop drawing team to produce project’s shop drawings in a timely and accurate manner and 

getting consultant approval. 

 Follow up with Construction team to solve all technical problems that may arise during construction. 

 Manage Quantity surveying team in the issuance of bill of quantities, payment approvals and change 

orders in a timely and accurate manner. 

 Ensure an effective material management process relating to, submittals approval process, control, storage 

and distribution of materials according to the projects’ needs. 

 Ensure proper distribution of all updated & approved project documents to all project concerned parties to 

keep them all updated. 

 Review and approve scheduled bill of quantities, request for information (RFI) and subcontractors’ 

invoices. 

 Review monthly owner’s invoices and ensure its comprehensiveness and accuracy. 

 Support Planning and Cost Control Department in monitoring monthly construction progress. 

 Support Contract Administrators in preparing any technical/cost claims with sufficient information about 

any variation orders. 

 Perform other duties as requested by Project Manager. 

 Prepare general notes requisitions or purchasing requirements for piping 

 Review flow sheets for correctness of depicting piping and material 

 Prepare support sketches for the drawing office 

 Review all piping drawings and ensure that the quality of design and drawings produced for enquiry and 

fabrication purposes is of satisfactory standard 

 Review document requirements and issue dates for major equipment with suppliers and assist 

Procurement Department in compiling a Supplier’s Document Index 

 Give guidance to client, project engineers, other specialist engineers and inspectors on piping engineering 

matters. Review piping aspects of package unit supplier’s drawings as requested by the engineer responsible 

for the equipment 

 Advise of any slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action 

 Advise of any technical problems and unresolved differences with other groups 

 Co-ordinate with Procurement Department and ensure certified drawings are available in time to meet the 

engineering schedules 

 Notify the Project Engineer or all deficiencies in the flow of data or other basic information required for 

execution of work 

 Assist the project with the progress reports 

 Advise of circumstances considered to be subject to contract change 

 Follow up piping construction work on project sites to ensure correct interpretation of designs regarding 

installation. Resolve any piping problems arising during commissioning 

 Keep abreast of development in the civil and structural engineering field
