Tasks and responsibilities:
set the preventive maintenance schedule and assign section teams.
Conduct & supervise preventive maintenance for electrical machines and equipments
of the section ( Induction motors, power and control circuits) inspections, maintenance, and testing.
Present a weekly report of to the Electrical department chief. Illustrating maintenance achievement and constraints faced the teams so far and how to improve the process as in the schedule.
Classic Control circuits simulation & design in order to improve the operation and safety.
Supervise the installation of new machines/Unit panels by sizing the units requirements such as: ( cables size and length considering cable path type,voltage drop, current value ,and environmental measures), circuit breaker,contactor , and any additional may be required.
Train the technicians to any new units installed by undergoing through their safety and operation, maintenance,and connections drawings manuals.
- Conduct the annual numerical protective relays tests to power house switch gear ,including the following tests :
over current test.
over/under voltage test.
over/under frequency test.
earth fault test.
check synchronizing relay.
Reverse power relay test.
Differential protection test.
-Interface with Digital relays and PLCs- followed in a list- of the factory in order to troubleshoot, modify , or take a backup using different types of communications protocols such as : ( Modbus, Profibus,and courier).

monitoring and maintaining all electrical systems and machines in the factory
during season shifts.
daily report record of the various machines conditions and faults occurrence during the
shift.
Generator synchronization with NEC grid and switch power factor correction on and off.
Cooperation with the Instrumentation section with the electric-instruments defects by providing the normal and abnormal parameters of the related unit/s.
American locomotives and workshop equipments maintenance.
Computer software troubleshooting and maintenance.
Computer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
Network supervising , make new connections , troubleshoot and maintenance.
Printers and scanners troubleshooting.
Training new employees and trainees.
Multimedia preparing and supervising in events and conferences.
