Power System Operation Foreman

1. Carrying out, Controlling and being fully accountable for the operation of the power plant and supplying the substations
2. Handle and control all activities to ensure that the Company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures are fully implemented and adhered.
3. Works closely with technical services group and co-operate with maintenance personnel to solve operation and design problems.
4. Communicate and co-ordinate with sub-stations operators to regulate and coordinate transmission loads and frequencies, and line voltages.
5. Maintains and update the daily operations, maintenance, trip log and record all problems that occurred and actions taken to solve such problems.

Power System Operator

1. Adjust controls to generate specified electrical power, or to regulate the flow of Power between generating stations and substations.
2. Operate or control power generating equipment, including Diesel & Gas Generators (Rolls Royce gas engines, WARTSIL gas & diesel engines).
3. Take readings from charts, meters and gauges at established intervals, and Take corrective steps as necessary.
4. Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, and reports.
