RESPONSIBILITIES & Main Duties
1. CPF OUTSIDE OPERATOR
ØOperatesincluding shutting-down/starting-up the processing plant to ensure safe andefficient operation.
ØCarryoutroutine checks on equipment for abnormalities and inform Superior for promptaction.
ØMonitorssafe work permits (hot and cold) and ensures jobs and Contractors activities arein safety regulations and procedures.
ØMonitorschemical injection rates and makes adjustments as required. Ensures chemical supplies are adequate andorders tanks to be filled as necessary.
ØLaunchesand recovers pigs through the flow lines as and when required.
ØMaintainsan accurate Daily Operations and Maintenance Logs. Includes recording all maintenance andoperational problems occurring and maintenance work carried out to correctmalfunctions
2. CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
ØMonitoringof all necessary process parameters (indication, Trends etc.),
ØStartup the plant after total shutdown.
ØPreparationdaily production report,(calculation of heavyand light oil production, heavy andlight oil export, well production and testing , gas production and gas consumption,water knock out and chemical consumption )
ØControlof the process and utilities production (control loops Set point change startand stop commands)
ØMonitoringof equipment status (availability, running, stop),
ØMonitoringof all process alarm and process shutdown Action,
ØMonitoringof the fire and gas detection system and cause and effect system,
ØEnsurethe company’s oil/gas production targets are met in terms of quality andquantity
